Dan Duchaine
The Steroid Guru

Daniel "Dan" Duchaine was an amateur bodybuilder, trainer and author. Called The Steroid Guru, Duchaine wrote the following books:

The Original Underground Steroid Handbook, 1981.
Underground Steroid Handbook, 1983.
Underground Steroid Handbook II, 1988.

These books were supposed to show the safe use of anabolic steroids, yet the author died before the age of 50!

Duchaine also wrote "Underground Body Opus: Militant Weight Loss & Recomposition" in 1996, with this book he concentrated more on diet and training and I think he was trying to show that he finally learned that it's best to keep away from drugs and just stick to hard work, proper diet and supplements.

Dan's knowledge on diet, training and supplements was ahead of it's time and if you can get you hands on a copy of "Body Opus", it's a great read. But his advise on steroids must be taken with the knowledge, that he and almost every other steroid expert have died way too young.
